Original film clapperboards return to Mladá Boleslav after one year. Visitors to the Škoda Museum will have the opportunity to view them from March 20 to April 1.

A Unique Exhibition for the 29th Year
This year’s collection features 120 works by leading Czech artists. Among the more than one hundred creators who have transformed ordinary wooden clapperboards into original pieces of art are Jaroslav Němeček, Iva Hüttnerová, Kristian Kodet, Jiří Slíva, and Petr Urban. This year, the project also welcomes a new contributor, actress Petra Černocká.

The Journey of the Clapperboards: From Exhibition to Talent Support
The project is a long-standing staple of the Zlín Film Festival’s accompanying program. Each year, the clapperboards tour various cities before concluding their journey in Zlín, where they are sold during a public auction.

The primary objective is to raise funds for film students and emerging filmmakers. The proceeds are distributed by the FILMTALENT ZLÍN Foundation (established by FILMFEST, s.r.o.) based on a grant competition and public project presentations.

History and Achievements
Throughout the 28-year history of the Film Clapperboard Salon:
