This year marks the 60th anniversary of the Škoda 1000 MB’s start of production. Before this iconic car hit the roads, an entirely new factory had to be built, which is still known today in Mladá Boleslav as the ‘new plant’. How complex was this process? What were the construction challenges? And what was required before the MB finally reached its first customers? Lukáš Nachtmann, the expert coordinator of the Škoda Auto Archive, sheds light on these questions. Guests can also enjoy free access to the Škoda Museum exhibition before the lecture.
