For half a century, the Czechs have become so fond of Jára Cimrman, a fictional character that gave name to streets, schools, observation towers, natural springs and sceneries and points of interest throughout Czechia. Cimrman put his name in our country more times than any other famous Czech. Not even Smetana, Dvořák, Jirásek, Němcová or Masaryk get as much space in Czech cities and towns and nature reserves as Jára Cimrman does. Miroslav Táborský travels with the actors of the famous theatre in this travelogue mini-series to places that are associated with the imprint of the unrecognised genius. The screening will be launched by the director with delegation.
