Located in the centre of Mladá Boleslav, a historical building that decades ago used to be a production hall now houses a modern restaurant called Café/Restaurant Václav. Combining authentic ŠKODA Museum premises, the ethos of the Czech brand ŠKODA AUTO and top-class catering services provided by the Zátiší Group, the place is guaranteed to give you a unique experience, whether you drop in for a quick business lunch or an afternoon cup of coffee or to take a tour of the Museum.
The restaurant organises regular culinary weeks and evenings with exciting menus and interesting accompanying programmes that make a great match with cultural and entertainment events held by the ŠKODA Museum. In summertime guests can enjoy seasonal menus and drinks in a cosy outdoor seating area.
Chef Michael Matula likes experimenting, and not only with local seasonal ingredients. The menu offers traditional Czech dishes, attractive seasonal meals, on-site made desserts, fresh sandwiches, salads and fruit. Popular highlights include beef tenderloin with herbal dumplings, goulash in black beer sauce with spätzle and salad with goat´s cheese. You can come for breakfast, lunch or an afternoon cup of coffee.
Offering a capacity of 100 chairs, the Café/Restaurant is also well suited as a venue for business meetings or private celebrations. To this end, one area can be partitioned to offer maximum privacy. Václav is a non-smoking facility. Please note there is a minimum spend of CZK 20,000 for events outside the regular opening hours.
